For when off-the-shelf runs out

Custom software is the most expensive answer to most problems and the only answer to a few. The work worth paying for is knowing which one you have.

Bought Bought Bought The part that has to be built
Three products covering most of it. The question is the part they do not.

You are probably here
because of one of these

  • You pay per seat for a product you use a tenth of, and the tenth you use does not quite fit.
  • A spreadsheet quietly became a system, and now it is load-bearing.
  • Three tools each hold part of the answer and none of them holds it all.
  • The workaround has a name, and new staff are taught it.

If none of those is quite it, describe yours — the form takes three lines.

What the work is

01

Internal tools and staff portals

The screen your team needs and cannot buy, doing the one thing that no product does the way you work.

02

Client-facing web apps

Where the thing you sell is easier to deliver through software than through people repeating themselves.

03

API and legacy integration

Getting an old system to talk without replacing it, which is usually cheaper than the replacement it is being blamed for.

04

Reporting dashboards

One place where the number means the same thing to everybody looking at it.

05

Data migration and clean-up

Moving what matters and leaving what does not, with a record of which was which.

06

Ongoing maintenance

Custom software is not finished on delivery. Somebody has to own it afterwards, and we would rather that was agreed at the start.

What we built for ourselves with it

DescontoFácil

A comparator that ranks offers on what leaves your account: product, minus the one coupon the order actually qualifies for, plus delivery to your postcode.

Where we stop

What we will not do

We will not build you something you do not need. Plenty of problems that arrive described as custom software are a configuration change, an integration, or a process that should be dropped. We scope honestly first, and we say so when yours is one of those — even though the honest answer is the smaller invoice.
